Tornados Hit Areas of Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee

We have confirmed reports that members of the Chi Omega chapters in cities hit by tornados on Tuesday, February 5th have not been injured. The Chi Omega chapters in these areas are Upsilon/Union University, Kappa Beta/Rhodes College and Tau/University of Mississippi.

Chi Omega's Executive Headquarters was not damaged and all staff members made it home safely before the tornados hit the area.

Union University has cancelled classes for the next two weeks, because of the extensive damage to many campus buildings. Chi Omega's lodge is being used as a university command center. Our gratitude goes out to our Upsilon sisters for their helpfulness and service during this difficult time.

Chi Omega Fraternity expresses heartfelt sympathy to the families and friends of those involved in this disaster.

Loyally Yours,

Jean Mrasek, S.H.
