Chi Omega in NPC Leadership Role

Jean Mrasek has been appointed to an important leadership role within the National Panhellenic Conference. At the October 2009 annual meeting, NPC Chair Eve Riley (Delta Delta Delta) appointed Jean Mrasek as chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee for 2009 - 2011. In this capacity, Jean will have financial responsibility for the entire Conference, including serving as treasurer for NPC.

This position is critically important as the Conference, like many nonprofits, looks for ways to increase member benefits and services with limited financial resources.

Jean Mrasek was initiated into Chi Omega at the Epsilon Gamma Chapter at the University of Tulsa. She has served our Fraternity in numerous roles since then, including service on the Governing Council. Jean served as S.K.A. from 2002 - 2004 and as S.H. from 2004 - 2008. She is currently Chi Omega's delegate to the National Panhellenic Conference. Jean's experience with strategic planning, consensus building, and with nonprofit operations make her a perfect fit for this role. We wish her luck!
