The Legacy Continues... Fall 2007 Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute of Chi Omega Graduates

On November 11th, eighteen Chi Omegas filled the Executive Headquarters with thoughtful discussions about ethics and talks about defining and upholding personal values. These eighteen women are the newest addition to a special community in Chi Omega, Laurie Leadership Institute Graduates. The Laurie Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Chi Omega Foundation, exists to provide leadership training and education for women to foster personal growth and to prepare them to lead in their communities, workplaces, homes, and in Chi Omega. The participants represented both collegiate and alumnae Chi Omega members.

The Fall 2007 Flagship session focused on values and ethics. The module encouraged participants to explore their personal values and ethics in the realm of their Chi Omega experience, their families and their communities. At the conclusion of the weekend, the delegates had a greater understanding of how ethics and values shape their lives.
