Chi Omega Mourns the Loss of Sister Barbara Bromberg

With great sadness Chi Omega announces the death of Sister Barbara Schwartz Bromberg, who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009. Barbara served as Chi Omega's tax counsel for over 30 years and spoke frequently at meetings and conventions. She was a partner in the law firm Dinsmore & Shohl, in Cincinnati, Ohio where she specialized in nonprofit organizations, particularly fraternal organizations. Barbara was an initiate of Pi Alpha Chapter at the University of Cincinnati. She was a loyal supporter of the Chi Omega Foundation.

Barbara had been battling cancer and fell acutely ill at the NIC Foundation Institute for Greek Advancement over the weekend where she was scheduled as a presenter.

Chi Omega sends our deepest condolences to Barbara's family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements are pending; please check Elden A. Good Funeral Home for more details.
