Central South Region Gains New Chi Omega Regional Alumnae Director
Leslie Kirkpatrick has been named as the new regional alumnae director (RAD) for Chi Omega's Central South Region. As the RAD for the Central South, Leslie will assist Chi Omega alumnae chapters in leadership development and communications best practices, support Chi Omega’s recruitment volunteers, and promote membership involvement to Chi Omega alumnae.
An initiate of the Lambda Alpha Chapter of Chi Omega and graduate of the University of Kentucky, Leslie is an Event/Operations Coordinator for a national insurance company. She oversees the daily operations of insurance sales, recruiting, retention, and training. Her professional experience has allowed her to effectively manage employees, plan events, and asses the needs of organizations as well as projects. These skills are a perfect fit to support alumnae chapters of varying sizes.
As a member of the Louisville Alumnae Chapter of Chi Omega, Leslie currently serves as corresponding secretary. She has held this position for 3 years and handles all communication to the 300+ members in the Louisville Metro Area. Leslie also attends collegiate chapter meetings at both the Beta Gamma and Lambda Alpha Chapters to increase alumnae membership participation post-graduation. The Louisville Alumnae Chapter continues to grow and boasts several events a month including dinner club and movie nights.
As you can see from her Chi Omega involvement and her professional work experience, Leslie is a terrific addition to Chi Omega's team of regional directors and will serve the Fraternity wonderfully by covering the South Central Region states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
