Foundation donors help provide quality leadership training.
One of our most effective leadership programs, the Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute of Chi Omega, fosters personal growth and prepares women to lead in their communities, workplaces, homes, and in Chi Omega. The Laurie Leadership Institute programs are presented in several venues: Flagship Sessions at Executive Headquarters, Regional Sessions, Chapter Visits, and as pre-conference sessions during Convention and Firesides. Topics include Values and Ethics, Conflict Management and Decision Making, Life Balance, Facilitation Skills, and Cultivating Your Leadership.
The Spring 2012 Flagship Session of the Laurie Leadership Institute will focus on:
Cultivating Your Leadership: Competence, Compassion, Courage, Commitment. Lauren DeSoiza, Sigma Mu/Babson College, alumna participant in the Spring 2011 Flagship Session on the same topic wrote to us about her experience:
I enjoyed the program so much! I just wanted to let you know, I got a new job four months after I left Memphis and I honestly attribute so much to this leadership course. I had so much to talk about in my interviews and it is such a star on my resume. I honestly can say that this experience helped me to get my dream job. I'm now working and flourishing at Babson College as the Assistant Manager of the Recruiting Program in the Undergraduate Career Office. I adore it and I love waking up every day and coming here. Thank you so much for this experience and all of the wonderful work you do. I know it wouldn't be possible without you.
