Jean Mermoud Mrasek

Jean Mrasek Named President’s Award Recipient

—by Letitia Fulkerson, S.H.

The Chi Omega President’s Award is reserved for that rare individual who has made and continues to make indelible marks on our Sisterhood. Jean’s collaborative and thoughtful leadership style has been of great benefit to Chi Omega in the many roles she has served our Fraternity.

During Jean’s service as national president, the strategic priority of communication was addressed through the redesign of The Eleusis, development of our four key messages, and adoption of our tagline, “Flourish.”

Jean has earned the respect and friendship of Chi Omega Sisters, members of the Greek community, and university administrators across the country with her warmth, sense of humor, strong commitment to ethical behavior, and belief in the sorority experience.

It will be a heart-warming moment for me to present the Chi Omega President’s Award at Convention 2012 to our most deserving Sister, Epsilon Gamma/U of Tulsa initiate Jean Mermoud Mrasek!
