Announcing Leslie Richbourg Herington as Executive Director for Chi Omega Fraternity

Chi Omega is excited to announce Leslie Richbourg Herington is the new Executive Director for the Fraternity. Leslie is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and is an initiate of Pi Chapter at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated in 1995 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. 
 
After graduation, Leslie attained her CPA certification and spent her early career practicing in public accounting as a corporate auditor for companies including Stokes, Bartholomew, Evans & Petree P.A.; Duncan, Wheeler, and Wilkerson P.C.; and Ernst & Young.  In 2003, she was hired as the Director of Business Operations at the Chi Omega Executive Headquarters and worked in that role until 2005. 
 
Since then, Leslie has lived in the Raleigh, North Carolina area but has continued to serve Chi Omega as a national volunteer. She is currently active on the 2012 Convention Leadership Team as the On-Site Services Team Leader. In addition, her previous national volunteer positions have included: Chair of the Financial Resources Development Committee, Chair of the Chi Omega Foundation Sisterhood Fund Disaster Relief Program, and member of the Chi Omega Convention staff since 2006.  She has also served as a local chapter advisor.
 
“We are thrilled to welcome Leslie Herington as the new Chi Omega Executive Director.  Leslie's varied experiences as a former staff member and national and local volunteer have prepared her well to lead our Fraternity staff.  Her strong business background, commitment to volunteer development, and true appreciation for our values-based membership experience will ensure that Chi Omega will continue to flourish,” said Chi Omega National President Letitia Fulkerson. 
 
Leslie will be relocating to Memphis with her husband, Jeff, and her two daughters.  She will begin her role as executive director on January 3, 2012. Until then, Carol Miraglia will continue to serve the Fraternity as interim executive director and all questions should be directed to her.
