Chi Gammas Are Sisters in the City

The Warwick Hotel was “Owl Central” for four days in early August as initiates of Chi Gamma at Marietta College, classes of 1974–1980, met to renew their ties and enjoy the variety of activities New York City offers.

Sisters and the City was the theme for the occasion that brought 24 friends together from as far away as Texas and Colorado. Each Sister received a gift bag that included a red and yellow T-shirt bearing the reunion theme and logo; red-and-yellow Sisters and the City M&Ms; a CD of 1970s songs; and several Marietta College souvenirs.

The highlight of the extended weekend was a Saturday evening dinner in Randolph’s at the Warwick Hotel.

Karen Peper Kinney and Carole Wylie Hancock co-chaired the event. Jane Kline Poirier, dining consultant, and Dale Robinson, GKL (Grand Keeper of the List), assisted them.
