Chi Omega Focuses On Alumnae Engagement

The Fraternity’s strategic plan is focusing on alumnae engagement. A spring 2011 survey found that 96 percent of alumnae reported that Chi Omega is relevant to them today.

For many Sisters, Chi Omega is a highlight, and for many the highlight of their college experience. Here’s a sample of what they are saying:

• Chi Omega was the best time in my life and coincidentally my three best friends in New York City are all Chi Omegas! —Patricia Lifter, 1978 initiate, Tau Alpha/Ohio U, residing in New York City, 2011 contributor to the Chi Omega Foundation.

• Chi Omega gave me lifelong friends and so many great memories from Sisterhood events and random gettogethers like study breaks! I can’t imagine life without Chi Omega! —Jen Frey Hirsch, 2004 initiate, Gamma Lambda/Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, residing in Morton, Illinois. Five-consecutive-year Chi Omega Foundation donor.

• Chi Omega gave me the opportunity to meet so many amazing women with different majors and varying interests. It was truly a way to have a special community of sisters on a large, and sometimes impersonal, campus. —Allison Bryce Paap, 1997 initiate of Psi Epsilon/Arizona State U, living in Escondido, California. Five-consecutiveyear Chi Omega Foundation donor.
