Boston Alumnae’s “A Pot Full of Wishes!” Benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Massachusetts

The Greater Boston Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter hosted its fourth-annual A Pot Full of Wishes! event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Held on March 7, 2009, the St. Patrick’s Day-themed fundraiser featured live music, with vocals by Ingrid Gerdes, Lambda/U of Kansas. The event chair and alumnae chapter president, Jen Ward Mitchell, Chi Gamma/Marietta College, worked with a team of 15 alumnae to organize the event, which raised more than $9,000. In the last four years, A Pot Full of Wishes! has raised in excess of $34,000 to help the Foundation grant wishes for five children with life-threatening medical conditions. The 2010 event is set for Saturday, March 6 at Coogan’s in downtown Boston. For details and to purchase tickets, go to www.acteva.com/go/APotFullofWishes.
