Terra Van Dyke Winter Named to C of C Board of Directors

The Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce has named Terra Van Dyke Winter as the secretary of the Chamber Board of Directors. Employed as executive director of the Mesilla Valley Hospice Foundation, she joined the Chamber Board in 2009.

“Chamber membership has been good for me personally and professionally but also for the businesses I represent,” Terra said. “The Chamber works to promote all businesses, especially smaller businesses, and to be a connection between community members and those moving here to the business community.

“Because I was born and raised here, I want to see the community grow and flourish,” she continued. “Now that my husband and I have children, we want our schools and businesses to do well so our children can enjoy life in Las Cruces as much as we have.”

Terra earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in health sciences from New Mexico State U, where she was initiated by Pi Delta Chapter. Currently, she is the forms and records advisor for Pi Delta; previously, she has served as the new member advisor and scholarship advisor.
