Marshall Explores Arizona

Husband-and-wife co-authors William Kirschner and Angela Perrault Kirschner invite young readers to explore Arizona in their first book in an anticipated 50-book series that will take readers to each state.

Traveling with Marshall to visit Arizona, readers visit places high up in the mountains and way down in the desert, and learn about monsoons and unique wildlife, the five Cs of Arizona (copper, cattle, cotton, citrus, and climate), a castle built into a cliff, a painted desert, and more!

Lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and a craft for grades K-5 are available at no charge at http://www. kirschnerbooks.com/. These lesson plans coordinate with the book and follow Arizona’s educational standards.

Angela is an initiate of Rho Gamma Chapter at Hillsdale College, where she earned a degree in business management and marketing. Discovering a love for teaching, she later earned a master’s degree in education. The authors live in the Phoenix area, where Angela worked in a special-needs preschool and taught middle school science and math. They have one son, Ethan.
