Chi Omega Sister Is Dental Hygienists’ Leader
Pam Lazear Quinones is the 2011–2012 president of the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA). Earlier, she was president of the Maryland Dental Hygienists Association (MDHA) and worked with the Montgomery Volunteer Dental Clinic, which serves poverty-level clients. She is a co-founder and charter member of the Washington Metropolitan Dental Hygiene Council.
A clinical dental hygiene professional for more than 30 years, Pamela also owns Hygiene Associates Inc., providing permanent and temporary placement of dental hygienists, in-office continuing education, and consulting services for the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas.
Pamela’s dedication to her profession and to excellent patient care has earned her a number of awards and recognitions, including the ADHA Distinguished Service Award, the MDHA Symbol of Excellence, and recognition by the Who’s Who of Women Executives. Last October she was was inducted into the distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor on the campus of her alma mater, West Liberty U. She is an initiate of Nu Theta Chapter.
